EB-1A for Startup Founders
Founders have the hardest EB-1A record to assemble and the strongest one to win. Your company is not the petitioner — you are. Here is how to separate personal acclaim from company achievement.
Built for: Venture-backed and bootstrapped founders, technical co-founders, and operators who built companies from zero.

Where USCIS pushes back
Founders draw the "self-serving evidence" objection more than any other profile: USCIS treats your own company's letters, your own press releases, and your own website as unreliable. Mitigate by weighting the record toward third parties — investors who are not on your cap table, customers, journalists writing independently, and industry experts with no financial relationship to you. Also expect scrutiny of whether the company itself has a distinguished reputation; document that separately from your personal role.
